Industrial rapid pressure sand filter is an ideal water treatment filter which use walnut shell as filtration medium to remove suspended solids & undissolved impurities like dust particles & heavy metals from water to reduce turbidity and TSS.
The main body is made of thickened steel plate with good weldability heat resistance, corrosion resistance and low temperature.
Considering to ocean transportation, our standard rapid pressure sand filter is designed with diameter from φ800 to φ3000mm and with height from 2860 to 4480mm, these pre-engineered and pre-assembled units minimize installation and start-up costs.
Larger size water treatment filter is available, customized service is acceptable.

Working Principles
Raw water access into rapid sand filter by water feeding pump and is channeled to filter top, and then falls on a bed of sand.
Filtered water then exits through laterals at filter bottom and the trapped dirt on the sand bed is removed via periodic
backwashing and infrequent sand replacement.
